The Grand Opening of Stroller Strides Milton has been rescheduled for this Wednesday, September 1st. Class begins at 9:30am, so grab your stroller, bring the tots, and join the celebration! The day will start with an amazing workout for you and your tots – 60 minutes of cardio, strength training, and fun games for the baby too. Raffle prizes and food will follow.
The 2010 Life is good Festival at Blue Hills will take place September 11th & 12th at Prowse Farm in Canton. The festival is a two-day celebration of music and optimism, featuring three stages of diverse live music, hands-on games, interactive arts activities and the “Good Kids” zone — home to the top acts in kids entertainment.
Fun Free Fridays has had an overwhelming turnout this year so far! Earlier this summer, the Museum of Fine Arts saw 11,049 visitors, and the Franklin Park Zoo had 17,230 visitors! For the Grand Finale of Fun Free Fridays, on Labor Day weekend the Highland Street Foundation is opening up venues on Friday September 3rd, and Saturday September 4th too. There will be a total of 16 free admission venues over the course of the weekend!

The Stroller Stroll returns to the Hanover Mall for a fun-filled day of music, food and activities for all! The money raised will be used to provide specialty equipment and services for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and Pediatric programs at South Shore Hospital.
In an effort to be more green this school year, I’m switching the kids from our usual plastic bags to reusable sandwich bags, hopefully saving money and doing a bit to save the planet at the same time. There are lots of great options out there for reusable bags, some Velcro, some zippered, and the plenty of patterns and styles to please all three of my kiddos!
