Fall Fun at Franklin Park Zoo

Mark your calendars now!  Franklin Park Zoo is holding two fun fall events this month!

Farm Day – October 16th, 10:30am-3pm.  Check out Franklin Farm at Franklin Park Zoo, and see Poitou donkeys, sheep, goats, Guinea hogs, and much more!  Kids will learn about the animals during scheduled zookeeper encounters, make their own scarecrow (and other fun activities), and learn about agriculture issues by visiting with special exhibitors.

Zoo HowlOctober 29-30, 11am-3pm.  kids can trick-or-treat among the animals. Thrills, chills, and animals lurk around every corner on the Trick-or-Treat Trail! Other haunted happenings offered throughout the day include: creepy crafts, ghoulish games, howling costume contests, a haunted maze and hayrides!  (Hayrides are $2 per person or 3 for $5).
