The Ecotarium, located in Worcester, falls in to the not-here-but-near category, but we thought it was worth a mention!
On Saturday, October 19th, the Ecotarium will hold its 10th annual Great Pumpkin Fest! Head to the museum for a day full of Halloween family fun including “spooktacular” science programs, a pumpkin carving demonstration, games and entertainment, a costume parade, hayrides, plus a display of hundreds of jack-o-lanterns to be lit up after dark.
Guests can also explore the museum’s exhibits, see the animals, even catch a free planetarium show. Kids (and families) are encouraged to dress up for the fun!
The event will be held from 12-9pm. Admission for Great Pumpkin Fest is $15 for non-members, $12 for EcoTarium members. Children under 2 years old are free. Food will be available for purchase during the event.
