Strawberry Picking on the South Shore

strawberries on the south shore

Well, it’s June, and that means strawberry picking time!  The strawberry season has a very short window, usually from mid June to early July.  Blink and you might miss it.  It’s such a great activity for kids though, even young ones can reach the short plants, and easily find themselves some juicy red berries.

There are a few great farms in the area to go strawberry picking (listed below), and some local strawberry themed events coming up this month too!  We’ve listed the hours by arm, but it’s always a good idea to call before you head out to confirm actual opening dates and check on picking conditions.
