Do you have a Summer Bucket List?  If you’re stumped for ideas on what to do, we’ve pulled together a list of 75 things to do on the South Shore (and a bit beyond) that will keep your family busy all summer long.  Whether you’re looking to spend time outdoors or in, if you want to be active or use your imagination, we’ve got an idea for you.  We’ve included links whenever possible to help you plan, as well as lots of FREE activities to save your wallet.   Check it out, and happy summer everyone! 

  1. Visit the Zoo!  here are plenty of local zoos to choose from.  Check out Roger Williams Park Zoo, Franklin Park Zoo, Capron Park Zoo, Stone Zoo, and Buttonwood Park Zoo.
  2. Watch a Movie Under the Stars!  Grab you blanket and chairs and head out to one of these Free Outdoor Movie events.
  3. Friday morning story time at Paragon Carousel. Hear your favorite characters read on Friday mornings at 10:30am.
  4. Get tickets to a Cape Cod Baseball League game
  5. Visit Edaville Railroad and the brand new Thomas Land (opening date August 15th)
  6. See a movie at the Mendon Drive-In.  Make a night of it and see a double feature!  $25 per car.
  7. Cool off in a local Splash Pad
  8. Try the waterslides at Water Wizz
  9. Go indoor rock climbing at Rock Spot Climbing
  10. Stop by open play hours at Kid Zone in Norwell
  11. Visit Heritage Museum & Gardens in Sandwich, check out their new Adventure Park!
  12. Take a drive to the Cape Cod Inflatable Park
