Pick-Your-Own Pumpkin Farms


If you’re looking for that perfect pumpkin for the front steps, or to carve into a scary jack-o-lantern, try one of these pick-your-own pumpkin patches around the South Shore and beyond.

Belkin Lookout Farm (Natick) – Pick your own pumpkins and apples, train rides, children’s play area, hay pyramid, caterpillar rides, burlap maze, farm animals, bouncy house.  On the weekends they have live children’s entertainment, face painting, camel & pony rides.

Boston Hill Farm (North Andover) – PYO pumpkins available from mid-September through the end of October.  Visit sheep, goats, chickens and rabbits by purchasing a cup of animal food at the Farm Stand.  Pre-order your apple cider donuts to have them ready when you get there!

CN Smith Farm (East Bridgewater) – Pumpkins are available already picked at the store or you can pick your own.   Pick your own is available on weekends only in October.  You must take a hayride to the pick your own field.  Hayride tickets may be purchased in the farm store (pumpkins priced separately).  PYO apples also available.

Davis Family Farm (Sterling) – U-Pick Apples & Pumpkins are only open on days that Davis Farmland is open.  It’s bushels of FUN!  The Apple Orchard features MacIntosh & Cortland apples and the Pumpkin Patch has a variety of sizes to accommodate children and adults.  The pumpkin patch is scheduled to open September 24th.  U-pick apples scheduled to open Sept 10th.  Other activities include the mega maze, laser tag, farm area, spray park and more.

Nihtila Farm (Holbrook) – Pumpkin patch opens the second to last weekend in September.  Pick your own pumpkins and hayrides through the pumpkin patch. Open Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 11am until dark, and Columbus Day.

Sauchuk Farm & Corn Maze (Plympton) – Take a hay wagon ride to the pumpkin patch for PYO pumpkins.  Other activities – corn maze, corn cannons, pedal carts, duck races, cow train, a jumping pillow and more.  Open Friday, Saturday & Sunday starting September 17th.  See site for hours.

Smolack Farms (North Andover) – Fall festival every weekend in in September & October includes pumpkin patch, corn maze, amusement area, apple picking, hay rides, apple cider donuts, farm animals and more.

Ward’s Berry Farm (Sharon) – Pick your own pumpkins mid-September to late October.
