The temps are dropping, and while you may be able to bundle up in a nice cozy coat, there are others that are not so fortunate. Help local families in need by donating your outgrown, unwanted coats and winter gear to one of these winter coat drives.
Coats For Kids
October 10 – January 6
Warm winter coats will be accepted at all Anton’s Cleaners and Jordan’s Furniture locations starting October 10th. Donated coats will be cleaned free of charge by Anton’s Cleaners. Once cleaned, all coats are distributed by local nonprofits, social service agencies, and schools. Find out how to register your school as a collection site!

Donate your gently used coats to help those in need. Locations include Carhartt (Legacy Place) in Dedham, and Raymond James in Hingham. Find other local drop off spots here.
One Warm Coat Drive
by The Arc in Plymouth
Once again this year the Arc Employment Advisory Committee is accepting new or gently used coats and donations of new hats and mittens to be donated to the Coalition for the Homeless, The Plymouth Taskforce for the Homeless; South Shore Womens Center and local Churches. The Cleanist in Plymouth has once again generously agreed to clean the coats. Please drop your coats, hat and mittens to The Arc of Greater Plymouth Supported Employment Program, Archway Enterprises at 10 Cordage Park Circle, Suite 108 in Plymouth. Roger Williams Park Zoo Coat Drive
Bring gently used coats to any Children’s Workshop location to help a family in need, and receive a coupon for half-off Zoo admission for up to 4 people from November 14 – 19. The coats will be delivered to the Buy Nothing Coalition to people who need help keeping warm this winter.
